Christmas starts too early for an illustrator
Today I have been listening to christmas music, drawing christmas decorations + about a dozen different Santa Clauses. Here is a taste - though most of the christmas stuff is left out. I thought it would be a good idea to spare you from too much christmas in september. The lovely lady in the drawing is my kids`great grandmother! BERTA! She doesn`t normally wear big bows on the top of her head - but it added to the illustration and went well to theme of the article it is made for. It`s been a nice day at work!

STOLTBOLIG
Here is some illustration work I recently did for STOLTBOLIG. This is for an advertising campaign for 3 beautiful houses that they are building on Klepp, on the southwest coast of Norway. Take a look here for more info about the project. The guys in STOLTBOLIG are great and inspirational to work with!

An odd commission...
The Norwegian magazine Kamille gave me the oddest commision this time. Imust admit this one was a bit tricky, but I think I got there in the end. Take a look in Kamille to see what it is all about...

Newlyweds - Eilen & Trond Petter!!
A while ago I was contacted by Trond Petter who was going to get married to his girlfriend - Eilen. He wanted to surprice her with an illustration about them & the big event. I was honored and a bit nervous! Such a big day, and so many expectations to fulfill. But here is the result! I hope it will make them smile and remember their beautiful day. Congratulations again to the sweet couple, and to their two cute kids!

Finally new birthplates on the way!
I have finally made some new sketches for a new birthplate. I would love to get your feed back on which one you like the best. Take a closer look at them here. Feel free to comment on the one you like the best/least. Do you think it would be best/necessary to add birthweight, lenght, time etc.? There will be more sketches coming up here within the next few days.
The face is the face of my little guy, and the dog/cat is inspired by my little girls drawings.

Busy moms! Recognize this situation?
I do! (even though I wish I wouldn`t). This is an illustration I just did for the Danish magazine "Vores Børn". The article raises questions about how busy you are during the everyday rutines with the kids, and offer some advice on how to change. Do you prepare other stuff while the kids eat breakfast? Do you say "hmm" without really hearing what the little one is really saying? Are you present when you pick him up in kindergarden, or are your mind on "whats for dinner today"? How often are you online between 16-20.00? How busy are you when you put them to bed? Oh.... I think I wouldn`t recieve a topp score on this one...but right in the middle. Trying to squeeze in as much presence as I can!
